Medical aid for villagers
FAsCE India organised yet another free medical camp on Nov 9, 2014 at KTR Memorial ME, Hindi School, Amsing Jorabat, Guwahati. The camp was conducted in collaboration with 132 Station Health Organisation, Narengi Cantt and Government of Assam Health Services, Kamrup (Metro).

Over hundred and fifty people walked into the camp for medical check-up, medicine and vaccination. FAsCE India undertook the noble task of conducting the camp mainly to help the villagers who were suffering from various illnesses like malaria, jaundice and typhoid. Children were vaccinated for typhoid.

Mr Ganesh Chetri, the headmaster of KTR Memorial ME, Hindi School, and the chief guest of the day, inaugurating the event, appreciated FAsCE India and asked the people to avail the opportunity to their better health. “FAsCE India, an organisation known for credibility and commitment deservers our appreciation and it is only divine intervention that they are amidst us with a healing touch,” he said.

Mr Narendra Chetri, the councilor of Amsing Jorabat, was full of admiration for the great works of human service accomplished by the organisation, while making a visit to the site during the camp.

There were three doctors and eight nurses, apart from five volunteers of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Guwahati and 30 members from FAsCE India’s Self Help Groups (SHGs) around the area to assist in the event.
